30 Days of Gratitude
November is upon us! Here at Dynamic Lynks we wanted to create something special for all of our readers to celebrate this month, the start of the holiday season, and the changing weather. Whether you are a parent, professional, or person on their own wellness journey - this month is for you!
Why Gratitude and Self-Care?
As music therapists, we spend a lot of our day helping our clients cope with anxiety, helping to improve their self-esteem, and providing strategies for positive emotional expression and regulation. We use a variety of musical and non-musical tools to target these skills for all levels of ability, and we want to share them with you!
How it Works
We will spend the next 30 days exploring gratitude and self-care. Gratitude for ourselves and others, and the world around us, with concrete strategies to improve our own wellness and wellbeing. Each day we will post a self-care prompt and an activity, from the calendar above, on our social media pages. Some days will have interactive worksheets and song activities, since we are music therapists after all!
We invite you to engage with us on each of these posts and share how the strategies improved your gratitude or self-care that day. Science shows us that it takes 21 days to form a habit. Our goal in the next 30 days is to help you start a gratitude and self-care practice that becomes a positive, daily habit to ease the seasons of stress that happen to us all. We are human after all!
