THE POSITION
Dynamic Lynks is actively accepting applications for Board-Certified Music Therapists to join our school and clinic-based team. We are looking for full-time candidates with a passion for pediatric therapy and experience working in schools and clinical settings.
You will work with autistic children and adults, individuals with ADHD, communication disorders, sensory processing needs, mental health needs, and developmental disabilities across ages 2 and up. Sessions include both individual therapy and group work across our Oak Park clinic and schools throughout the Greater Chicago area.
All positions are W2 hourly or salaried. Full-time positions require driving as we provide school-based and in-center services across Cook, DuPage, and Will counties.
We offer flexible scheduling to meet the goals of our candidates. Full-time positions follow a Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday schedule.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) or sitting for the CBMT exam prior to start date

Specialization in child development and pediatric therapy
-
Proficient musical skills in voice, guitar, piano, and percussion
-
Experience with neuroscience-informed music therapy approaches
-
Creativity and experience with songwriting and original intervention development
-
Experience working with neurodiverse individuals including autism, ADHD, communication disorders, sensory processing needs, and developmental disabilities
-
Confidence facilitating both 1:1 sessions and group therapy

Strong skills in leadership, teamwork, clinical writing, goal setting, and treatment planning

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as the position requires travel

Compassionate, flexible, and collaborative with clients and colleagues
-
Open to growth and training in new frameworks and clinical approaches
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

NMT (Neurologic Music Therapy) certification or training

Experience in neuro-affirming therapy practices

Experience with diverse communication styles including AAC and Gestalt Language Processing

Experience in school-based settings or with IEP goal implementation
-
Group therapy facilitation experience in a clinical context
